Happy Tuesday everyone!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and a happy Halloween! Instead of dressing up and going out, we had a pretty chill day at home. We ordered pizza, ate WAY too much dessert, and stayed up late watching YouTube videos! We are so fun. Haha!  As we were watching YouTube videos we stumbled across interviews of Ronda Rousey.  I'm sure you are all aware that she is a World/Olympic medalist in judo and she's also the UFC champion in MMA.  I'm not so much into MMA, but watching about 30 videos of Ronda Rousey made me a huge fan of her, and helped inspire todays post!

{Rhonda's grey jumpsuit and blush pink dress are House of CB. I love the zipper details on the dress, and the cutout and asymmetrical look of the jumpsuit! Click herehere and here to see a few jumpers I'm loving at the moment.}

In one of her interviews she was talking about insecurities she struggled with, which made me think about my own.  Sometimes I get so caught up in my flaws and feeling like I have to look perfect or I'm not pretty that day. Daily I see all of these beautiful models with perfect skin and beautiful bodies with expensive clothes that are almost impossible to obtain, or very much out of my budget, and sometimes it bums me out. But at the end of the day, you should love yourself just the way you are, (anyone else singing Bruno Mars in their head?) No matter what "flaws" you have!

I love girls like her and Christmas Abbott who promote a positive body image, are in great shape and also have great style!  The dedication and hard work they put in is incredible, and really motivates me to work hard in and out of the gym.

My point, You are beautiful, each and every one of you! Ignore the worlds standard for beauty and fall in love with the way you were created! And you don't have to look like Christmas or Ronda or a Jenner to be beautiful, either.  Embrace your insecurities, they are what make you unique!
Staying in shape is really important to me, not only is it great for you, but it has made me feel great about myself and really helped my confidence.  I encourage you all to start somewhere if you aren't already! And if you are then keep killing it ladies!  May it be Crossfit, running, Zumba, pilates, or just working out at your home,  I encourage all of you to find something you love, put in the hard work, and the results will come. Our bodies are capable of amazing things! Work hard, and have fun with working out!

I really hope this post inspired you guys and made your day just a little brighter! Who do you look up to?  Who motivates you?? Lets chat in the comments below!! Have a great week everyone!

XOXO,

The F.I.G

OUTFIT DETAILS:
Black ripped Paige Jeans | White embroidered Tank, searched high and low for the one I have one, other ones I love here and here. | Tommy Hilfiger flats; obsessing over this pair and this pair | Super old Black Romper.. this one is adorable | Black Studded Belt, not sure where the one I'm wearing is from, but here's one similar | Gypsy Haute Necklace | Trusty Marc Jacobs Watch, literally goes with EVERYTHING | Not shown, my Orange Lands End Ballet Flats

Last week I had the incredible opportunity to work with Traci, who hand makes every piece of custom jewelry for her jewelry line, Gypsy Haute, at Market at the F.I.G. The F.I.G. is the Fashion Industry Gallery in downtown Dallas, and its basically mezmerizing.  At Market, tons of brands come to showcase what their doing for the upcoming seasons.  It was really cool to see the fashion for spring and learn more about how the fashion industry works. Needless to say, I can't wait to go back!

This is my first pair of Paige jeans, and I am pretty impressed with how quickly they became one of my favorites.  I was surprised at how comfortable they were, they have the perfect fit.

And, I was comfy throughout the day,  I also felt like the blazer dressed up the romper.

I hope you all have a wonderful rest of the week!

XOXO,

The Best Day

My wedding day was just as I always dreamed it would be. Truly a magical, fairytale day that was intimate, sentimental, and full of love. It was a day I had always been waiting for and dreamed about. A day where I married my best friend, and favorite person.  A whole day spent with my family and closest friends celebrating me and my sweet husband, it was the best day of my life. Not to mention that I felt like a princess fairy in my blush wedding dress and gold sparkly heels.

Our ceremony was held outdoors under a beautiful tree that we wrapped with lights and draped the branches with a blush pink fabric.  As I was walking down the isle past the rows of candlelit lanterns, holding onto both my mom and my dad who had just prayed over me and my almost husband, I could feel the presence of the Lord there.

The ceremony was short and sweet as me and my best friend exchanged our written vows and washed each others feet. Our officiator then led everyone in prayer over us and our marriage. It was such a beautiful moment as everyone reached their hands towards us, I will never forget the peace, love and support I felt right then.

Shortly after we were announced husband and wife, we were ready to party, and eat! Our reception was wonderful with amazing food, and a gorgeous strawberry shortcake wedding cake that I designed, it was exactly as I imagined it would be.  After we danced and laughed all night, we walked out alone and had an intimate moment together, under the tree we had just been married a few hours before.

I couldn't have found a more magnificent photographer, Laken truly went over and beyond and captured the mood and ambience of our wedding day perfectly.  I hope you enjoy these pictures of our very special day!

XOXO,
