Dreamin'

Happy Friyay!

I'm currently sitting at my desk bundled up in my comfy boyfriend jeans, my warm robe, andddd my husbands socks, hehe.  But I can't help myself from daydreaming about our upcoming trip to Costa Rica this summer.  My sis in law is getting married there and I couldn't be more excited for her, and for a vacation. :)
With summer quickly approaching, I'm on the hunt for cute bikini's and breezy summer clothes.

Below is a wishlist of some of my favorite things I'm hoping to add to my wardrobe, I hope you can use it as inspiration!

What's some things you're hoping to add to your wardrobe this summer?  What can't you live without in the heat??
I'd love to know :) comment below!

Weekend Recap

Happy Monday!
I hope you all had a relaxing weekend!  We were kept pretty busy between date night, date night #2 on Saturday night with friends and church for most of the day Sunday.  Now it's time to get back to the grind- or sleep till 11:30.. you do you!

I thought I'd share a few of my outfits from the weekend with you guys (while I'm still in my pj's... and its 3:00 p.m.)

If you follow me on IG, you've seen this super comfy Banana Republic sweater before.  I paired it with my favorite Gap slouchy tee and these new Vince silky trousers- I got these for just $12.00!!  I wanted to dress it up just a little so I slipped on these BCBG wedges.  (I couldn't hunt down my exact ones, but I'm loving this pair by BCBG.)

I started off actually wearing the Vince trousers with this rib knit turtleneck, but decided to switch them out with these jeans instead.  I just love these studded Rebecca Minkoff stilettos, and I wanted to wear heels since I knew I would be wearing flats the next day.

After dinner as we were shopping, I stumbled upon these super cute Tahari oxfords and I just fell in love.  It helps that they were on sale, haha.  My sweater and trousers are actually both from Old Navy.  This sweater is a few years old so I wasn't able to find my exact one, but this one is similar!)

Thanks for stopping by!

Whats In My Bag?

HAPPY FRIYAY!

Me and the husband are working/checking things off our to-do list, then we're heading out for a little sushi date night!
But before we go, I thought I'd spill my bag for you guys!
Besides my planner and a handful of crumpled receipts, this is generally whats in my bag.  I'll link everything below!

Details:
Travel size TRESemme extra hold hairspray
Joico gold dust shimmer finishing spray (because if you don't love glitter then you can leave...jk)
Shany on-the-go blotting papers- these Clean & clear oil absorbing sheets are just as good
Tylenol extra strength to-go packs (when you don't have it, you need it!)
Honest Beauty magic balm (this stuff may really be magic, I love it on my cheekbones for a subtle glow and it's so soft on your lips)
Tarte Amazonian butter lipstick (perfect mauve-y rose shade)
EOS lip balm in 'summer fruit'
Burts Bees tinted lip balm
Chloe roses de rollerball parfum (a little tip that comes in handy, put your small clear elastic hair ties on your travel size perfume.  You won't lose as many!;) )
Calcin Klein deep euphoria parfum (this came with my package from Sephora, I love keeping these samples in my purse for when I forget to spritz perfume at home)
Clip on Selfie Light- not my exact one, mine came somewhere from China... (it may seem silly, but this thing really does make great lighting, and we all know that's the key to a good selfie!)
My Kate Spade purse and wallet were gifts- thanks mom :)

What's a must have in your bag??  I'd love to know!!
Have a great weekend!

Basic Makeup Routine

Happy Thursday guys! It's almost the weekend!
This is my first ever video and I'm pretty excited. :)  Especially since I'm pretty electronically challenged when it comes to.. well anything on a computer really.  LOL.

So today I wanted to share my basic makeup routine with you guys!
Just your everyday, simple makeup look.  I'm not gonna lie and say it's a 5 minute process, because even the simplest of makeup looks takes me at least 20 minutes.  My husband actually laughed out loud when I told him I was going to film a 10 minute makeup routine (hehe)

What's your go-to makeup look??  I wanna know!

Below I have links to all the products I used in todays video!
 Hope you enjoy!

Have an amazing weekend :)

Details:
Younique Primer (this NYX primer is a good one)
Honest Beauty Magic Balm- (great for lips too!)

Thank you so much for stopping by!
